Enedina "Nina" Buenavista

Nina Buenavista studied Economics at the University of Houston. She moved to New York City from Houston, Texas in 2003 to start her career in International Banking at JPMorgan Chase. Nina continued a successful career at HSBC Private Bank co-managing an investment portfolio for Ultra High Net Worth Mexican Nationals. Throughout her career, she took time to volunteer with several NGO’s in the United States, Thailand, and Jordan. She took a very hands-on approach in her volunteer efforts with Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, iMentor, and New York Says Thank You.

Passionate about her volunteering and desire to help people Nina decided to put her banking career aside. She is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Global Affairs at Florida International University. She expects to graduate in the spring of 2019. In her free time, Nina loves running and trekking. She has climbed/trekked Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc, Southern Iceland, and regions of Patagonia. Nina's interests include women's rights, education and finance.
