Life At the Green School

The Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs is a lively, diverse and professional community of students, faculty, and staff.


A lively and professional community of 40 new master’s students each year, makes the community at the Green School a close-knit one.  


Located on FIU’s beautiful Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC), placed at the center sits the 56,000 square-feet Green School building. Just a quick walk away from plenty of dining options and the Wellness & Recreation Center, SIPA is one of the most conveniently placed buildings on campus.

FIU’s MMC is nestled in the heart of suburban Miami, right on the iconic 8th street. A short drive away from the Wynwood Art District, the beach, and plenty of other options for Miami fun.


From career fairs, networking events, lecture series, and professional development seminars, we've got a plethora of options to supplement your career and education. We also offer the unique opportunity to learn in a foreign language.
