We're Here To Help

The Green School encourages students to seek financial aid when applying to our programs. There are various types of financial aid which include scholarships, loans, and grants.

Browse below to see which one fits your situation the best.

OneStop

OneStop is a student one stop shop for all of their financial needs. Students learn how to fill out their FASFA for financial aid, pay for classes, enroll in classes and more all through here.

Internal Scholarships

The Green School of International and Public Affairs offers merit-based academic scholarships to entering students in the Professional Master's in Global Affairs program.

To be recommended for a merit-based scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a fully admitted student entering the first semester of the PMGA program.

  2. Have an undergraduate/upper division GPA of 3.5 or higher (Upper division 60 credits GPA or master’s degree GPA of 3.5 or higher)

  3. Submit a one-page, written statement describing the reasons why the applicant merits this academic scholarship. The statement should highlight the candidate’s academic and professional accomplishments. (i.e. awards, volunteer service performed, career aspirations and community or professional involvement).

All awards are distributed on a first come-first serve basis. Students are encouraged to submit their application as early as possible. Since the number of awards is limited, not all students who meet the criteria are guaranteed an award.

The total number and amount will vary on the resources available.

The scholarship committee meets in June and July to review the applications.
