Foreign Policy magazine has named FIU’s Master of Arts in Global Affairs one of the top 40 programs in the world for policy careers in international relations.
The International Crime & Justice track readies students to operate in the areas of domestic and international crime and justice issues. Graduates of the MAGA-ICJ program will be better equipped to understand and respond to transnational crime and justice problems which continue to present formidable dilemmas in public policy, criminal justice and national security realms.
Maria Tirado started her Master of Arts in Global Affairs (MAGA program) because she knew it would open doors for her future.
The Green School’s Master of Arts in Global Affairs (MAGA) program made history this spring. The program celebrated its largest graduating class – including the graduation of the first cohort of the Global Risk and Corporate Responsibility track. The MAGA graduates came from diverse backgrounds from all over the country and the world. Many of them will go off to pursue careers in the fields of law, politics, security analysis, financial risk analysis and more.
Current Master of Arts in Global Affairs student, Alexandra Thulin, recounts her experiences with The Washington Center and her Summer International Network Engagement Internship with United Way Worldwide. These type of valuable internships are one of the many opportunities that the Master of Arts in Global Affairs helps its students take advantage of.
