Bio

Dr. Sandra Quincoses is an alumnus of FIU where she received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a certificate in Middle East studies. Before and while at FIU, she served as a congressional intern with local Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen for three years.

After completion of her bachelor’s, she pursued a master’s degree from the American Military University and specialized in National Security Studies and Terrorism Studies. While completing her master’s program, she trained as an intelligence analyst with the Advanced Technical Intelligence Center where she was assigned Syria as her area of focus. She was able to brief high ranking Air Force personnel on the evolving situation in Syria as it began in 2011 as a result of the “Arab Spring.” Following the completion of her master’s degree, she pursued a doctorate degree in Psychology specializing in social psychology and political science. Sandra is now a professional researcher and linguist working with the Gordon Institute.
